Thanks to the nine alumni who volunteered at Mitchell’s Self-Help Clinic this Spring

After a promising 10-week pilot in the fall, Mitchell’s new walk-in pro se clinic–staffed by volunteer alumni, students via the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and the Mitchell library staff–became a permanent clinic this spring. Over the course of the year the Saturday afternoon clinic served 90 patrons. Many thanks to Rachael Bendtsen ’08, Nina Carranco ’08, Mark Chapin ’82, Sara Hoffman ’08, William Orth ’80, Vanessa Rybicka ’04, Zach Smith ’08, Samantha Sutton ’04, and Marla Zack ’99, who volunteered their time at the clinic this spring for 13 weeks (along with 26 students). The clinic will reopen in the fall.
