William Mitchell College of Law Counseling Services is a short-term, on-campus support service for students while in law school.
William Mitchell established the Counseling Services program in 1991, recognizing the many specific demands and stresses that members of the law school community face in the quest to meet the expectations of self, family, jobs, and education.
All services are confidential. Both the law school and the counselors recognize the student’s need for confidentiality. Counseling information will not be shared with anyone without your written authorization unless it’s legally required. Every effort is made to ensure your privacy, including licensed clinicians who are not WMCL employees and a private location for sessions.
The Counseling Services office is located on the lower level of the LEC building on the west side of campus.
