Category: News Tags: April 17, 2012 @ 6:28 pm

Ready-Set-Register and Go Paperless with Financial Aid!Â
Not registering for summer? See information below-

Summer registered students who have a 2012-2013 FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid office will receive an email  invitation (this weekend) to visit the new Financial Aid web access to review and process financial aid items for summer ’12, fall’12 and spring ’13. Completing the process electronically eliminates the need for paper processing! No “Reply” paper copy is needed, and you can print the awards page from your record.

The tab, My Financial Aid,  has been added to the Student Records log-in location.  Click on the tab to access your 2012-2013 financial aid records. Financial aid budget information and  financial aid items assigned to your record can be viewed and processed through this location.

Summer tuition is $1,263 per credit. An estimated $5,500 summer ’12 book and living expense budget will be added to assumed fall ’12 and spring’13 budgets, and financial aid items assigned to meet the total costs. A minimum of 2 summer credits is required to receive federal loan in the summer. Subsidized loan for ’12-’13 is still available –until July 1st- for summer registration.

Fall/Spring tuition and our estimated expenses for 2012-2013 are detailed on the financial aid web page at this location http://web.wmitchell.edu/financial-aid/living-expenses-and-tuition-2012-13/
and also in the Financial Aid Web location.

Students who have filed the 12-13 FAFSA and DO NOT plan summer registration can email us now, and we will respond with fall/spring financial aid information.

NEW!! 2012-2013 Financial Aid Web Access for Students

Category: News Tags: April 9, 2012 @ 10:58 am

The tab My Financial Aid has been added to the Student Web secured area, Student Records Log-In, where students find tabs for Demographics, Class Registration, My Student Account, an Unofficial Transcript, and three other functions.

For 2012-2013, financial aid applicants will be able to access 2012-2013 financial aid records, review summer, fall and spring award amounts, indicate which financial aid items they want processed, and review scheduled disbursement activity. This web activity will replace paper Financial Aid Eligibility letters and the need to return the REPLY copy of the letter. Student responses from within the website update the financial aid database.

Students registering for summer on-campus classes (who have filed the 2012-2013 FAFSA) will be able to see and process summer financial aid offers later this week.
