Mitchell in London is an exceptional opportunity for students to study comparative law with international scholars and top practitioners from the United States and Britain.
This innovative summer program led by William Mitchell College of Law with BPP University Law School offers law school students from across the United States and Britain the opportunity to spend four weeks studying in London, one of the world’s leading cities for law, business, trade, politics, research, art and entertainment.
Students take two in-depth courses (6 credits) that explore legal issues of global importance. Courses are taught by top U.S. and British law professors, leading American lawyers and British barristers. The instructors bring unique professional perspectives and real-world experience to the classrooms and structure courses so they are comprised of a combination of class discussion and extensive small group break-out sessions that require hands-on practical application of topics under discussion.
In addition to the classroom activities, students have two long weekends free to travel, explore, and experience all that the United Kingdom has to offer.
