LexisNexis and Westlaw
Students receive Westlaw and LexisNexis passwords during small group orientation. Any questions about password registration can be directed at Lindsay Matts
Your password is limited to your use only and only for educational (class work or faculty research) purposes. If you have any concerns about usage restrictions please contact Karen Westwood.
Printing
When you print through Westlaw or Lexis, you can choose to have your printouts go to the dedicated printers located in Lab 2A in the Library. On Westlaw this is labeled as “Westlaw Printer in pool PL330”. The Lexis printer is labeled as “701523 Lexis Computer Lab”. The printers are provided and maintained by the vendors and they provide the paper and toner for them. Please print only what you need and pick up printouts as soon as possible.
Tip: In order to print from the Westlaw site, you will need to add it as a trusted site on your computer, and allow pop-ups.
Documentation and Training
The vendors provide lots of handouts in lab 2A and there are student vendor reps who have regular hours in the lab to help. Vendors reps are also more than willing to set up individual training sessions for those who want them. Please contact Karen Westwood for information.
