Professor Doug Heidenreich ’61 will be the commencement speaker at William Mitchell College of Law’s 2014 winter graduation.
The event in the law school’s auditorium starts at 2 pm Saturday, Jan. 18, and will be streamed live at wmitchell.edu.
For more than 50 years, Professor Heidenreich has been part of the William Mitchell community. He graduated from Mitchell in 1961, joined the faculty two years later, and served as the college’s dean from 1964 to 1975. He currently teaches Contracts and Professional Responsibility.
He is a native of St. Paul, Minn., a former football player for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, and Mitchell’s self-described “Faculty Curmudgeon.” More information about the longest-serving member of the Mitchell faculty can be found on his biography page.
