New clinics enable students to help veterans, gain experience

Mitchell students have a new opportunity to help veterans while gaining real-world experience. This fall, Mitchell’s Veterans Assistance Organization (VAO) will begin a collaboration with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), offering free follow-up legal help to veterans who are referred to them from the MACV’s free drop-in clinics.
