2012–13 semester disbursement dates are
Summer 2012: June 1
Fall 2012: Sept. 7
Spring 2013: Jan. 25
Checks are disbursed at 9 am for the first issuance and 12 pm there after in the Finance Office, room 276, LEC Building.
Extended hours are in effect on the first issuance day of each semester.
Alternative arrangements to pick up or receive checks can be made by contacting student accounts at student.account@wmitchell.edu
After each semester’s initial check issuance date, subsequent disbursements are issued weekly on Fridays. Checks not picked up within 21 days will be cancelled and the funds returned to the lender.
If you pick up the check and decide within 21 days of the disbursement to return some or all of the funds to your lender, you have two choices:
1) return the original check to the Finance Office with a written statement indicating the amount and which loan to repay (the request form is available on line and in the Finance Office) Any amount not returned to your lender will be reissued to you.
or
2) repay loans directly to the servicer. Any payment you make within 120 days of disbursement will result in cancellation of fees and interest for those disbursed funds.
After 21 days your only option is to make a payment to your loan’s servicer.

Review Mitchell student account activity on line through the Student Section of the Mitchell website http://www.wmitchell.edu/current/
Click on Student Records Login, authenticate with your student id and assigned 4 digit exam number, click on My Student Account.
