Mitchell Alums to Speak about Genocide in Guatemala

On Thursday, March 15, 11:00-11:50 am, Thom Haines and Melissa Jacobsen, both Mitchell alums and Carver County attorneys, will speak about their experiences in Guatemala, where over 200,000 were killed in its 1960-1996 genocide, and their ongoing efforts to find justice for those who are being brutalized and displaced.

The talk will be held in Room 123 and is free and open to the public. PLP Diversity credit will be available for Mitchell students. Sponsored by World Without Genocide.
