IP - Trademark Litigation (5501)
This course covers the private enforcement of trademark rights. The litigation process is covered from counseling a client regarding litigation to final judgment and post judgment motions. This course has a heavy skills component. As such, students conduct a mock trademark litigation trial where they will learn how to draft trial briefs, examine and cross-examine expert and other witnesses, present survey evidence to a jury, and present technical information to the jury.
Grading: Exam, skills exercises and other grading methods.
