Consumer Rights Workshop (8310)

Surveys consumer rights law under the Federal Consumer Protection Law, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and the Credit Repair Organizations Act. Students will do focused coursework on realistic case scenarios, including drafting pleadings, memoranda of law, retainer agreements, case selection, and valuation along with other relevant case materials.

Grading: Letter graded. No exam.
